Class 2
Eligibility: A child who is seven years or above will be eligible for admission in Class 2. Direct admission in Class 2 without having attended at least two/three years of pre-school/home schooling is not possible.
Teaching Process
- Language based activities where children can express themselves are introduced.
- Cognitive developmental activities are done through games, sorting, matching etc which require them to remember certain rules.
- Children are given instructions in words and they are trained to listen and follow to help the child’s language development.
- Team and group activities which require cooperation and sometimes competition are included to teach numbers and rhymes too.
- Written work activities are included at this stage with colorful and easy to follow worksheets.
- Special focus is given to develop numeracy and language skills.
- Each child is given a kit comprising of books, worksheets and play material designed and curated by the Kid Veda research team.
